Too Much Honesty?

Is there such a thing as too much honesty?

Well, in real life, I’d have to say yes.  It’s just common sense.  There are thoughts which only you should have because to spew them onto an unsuspecting victim may not solve anything.  Sometimes these truths are harsh because of something that is intrinsically you.  Sometimes, the words in your mind are simply rude and would serve no other purpose than to hurt/insult/demean/etc.

Punch Buggy

I stumbled upon an old blog entry over at My Mean Girl: Road and Off-the-road Rage.  In it, he talks about his girlfriend’s punch-buggy antics.  Apparently, anything qualifies for a slug on the arm for her.  I have to admit that I’ve done the same with my kids, just to get that “hey, you can’t punch for a schoolbus!"… and despite my unjustified abuse, they won’t retaliate unless they spot a VW bug.

Damn Internet Nonsense

I’ve been in a pissy mood with part of the internet community for the last week or so… namely the younger gamers who frequent popular review sites and act like macho jackasses.  Let me preface this by saying that this type of behavior normally doesn’t phase me.  In fact, I find it pitifully funny.  It’s when these idiots start spewing racist/bigoted/prejudiced nonsense that I wish I lived close enough that I could drive to their respective (parents) homes and slap each kid squarely on the back of the head.

Bloggin’ Bastard

We’d been thinking about it for a while… we being myself, William and Tristan.  Unfortunately, we had been slacking off on our writing and decided to jump-start our creative juices (so to speak).

Why 'One World'?
We at The Frozen Man believe that to succeed in the creative arts, be it writing or art, one should have a profound knowledge of the world around them. Understand human nature and you will be able to create words which are true. We are one world, one people, one essence.
